Attention : Opera was attacked and stolen data users !

Opera is a browser that walks a few years trying to win your place in the market . Although such good features as the competition , it has not been able to assert itself . The attack must have happened earlier this week . This data is stored thanks to its synchronization service Opera Sync enabling you to store and access remotely. You can also sync with other instances of Opera that are running on other machines . According to Opera , the stolen data are passwords, user names and other information own . Although they were stolen , the passwords are encrypted or some kind of encryption.

To eliminate this problem immediately , the Opera decided to change the password of all affected users , which must carry out the recovery of the same , according to the information available on this site .
Despite being a major problem , it made her see that only a small portion of its users were affected. Of the more than 350 million users of Opera , only 0.5 % use Opera Sync , which is only 1.7 million.
