HP has created a filter against " alien curiosity "

HP has created a new screen for laptops that increases privacy. When triggered, the technology prevents people from one side or the other of the user able to see what is on screen.
If you have found yourself in situations where you are working on your laptop and feel ill at ease because the people next to you can see what you are doing, then this may be the solution to your problem. HP has developed a new "privacy filter" called Sure View, which allows the user to protect against too prying eyes.
According to The Verge, this new feature is only enabled if the user so wishes and decreases the brightness of the beam emitted by the computer screen. When triggered, the Sure View makes what appears on the screen can only be seen in an arc of 70 degrees.
The site says that in theory, the light emitted outside the area is reduced by 95%. The filter necessarily reduce the screen brightness, but how it can be turned on and off "to the customer's will," the user does not have to push the view when it is in private or in environments with less light. The Sure View is released in September integrated into portable EliteBook 1040 and 840.
