Next Generation consoles

With the arrival of the "improved" next generation consoles, the speculation is higher than ever, with questions such like, "is it worth it" or"is there such a big difference from the previous one"... We are here to analyse with detail the two new future consoles and compare them to the previous ones : Xbox One S and PlayStation 4 Neon

The Xbox One S is the first console that we will approach is also the first to be released.
First things first, the Xbox One S will be more powerful than Xbox One. According to Microsoft, Xbox One S is going to support 4K resolution and, there´s a slight boost to processing power over the Xbox One to accommodate HDR gaming, but the difference is small.

Microsoft is also opting for a similar design to the Playstation 4.

Xbox One S specs:
  1. 4K Ultra HD
  2. HDR (High Dynamic Range)
  3. 40% more compact

Now lets check out the Playstation 4 Neon.

Playstation 4 Neon  a.k.a playstation 4.5 or even PS4K is the response that Sony gave to Microsoft when they presented the XBox one S.
Little we know about the specs of The PS4 Neon, but what we are sure about is that the PS4 Neon is going to have 4K resolution. The Neo will feature a superior clock speed to the PS4 (2.1 GHz vs 1.6 Ghz), as well as an improved GPU. The Neo is expected to have the double the potential processing units and at a higher clock speed which explains that the PS4 Neo would be twice as powerful as the PS4.

According to Sony President Andrew House, PS4 Neo is intended to "sit alongside and compliment the standard PS4" and both will be sold througout the console lifecycle.
The executive also stated that "all games will support the standard PS4 and we anticipate all or a very large majority of games will also support the high-end PS4.” If this rings true, you shouldn't need to worry about missing out on any games if you stick with your standard PS4.
The release date of the PS4 Neon is not yet known but people are pointing to September as the launch.

Thank you for your preference see you next time.
