The " charges " are made in an open letter to customers , called " Message to the Apple community in Europe," published online , where the brand apple " traces " the history of investment in Ireland - and in turn the Old Continent - which It began with the opening of the first factory in October 1980 , and was strengthened by these days.

Tim Cook believes that the decision , the European Commission is about to rewrite the history of Apple in Europe to ignore the tax system in Ireland , preferring to favor international law.

" The opinion disclosed to August 30 states that Ireland favored Apple," said the CEO , something the company has never asked nor received , he adds. "We are now in the unusual position of being required to pay additional taxes with retroactive to a government that says we are nothing more than that which we have paid ."

And goes on to say that in addition to affect Apple, " the most profound and damaging consequences of the decision " will feel on investment and job creation in Europe. " In view of the theory of the Commission, all companies in Ireland and across Europe may be subject to tax under laws that never existed ."
