Gautam Gupta, chief financial officer of Uber, made the revelation last week before dozens of shareholders and Bloomberg has now public: in the first half of this year, the transport "app"  had accumulated losses of 1.2 billion dollars, 520 million corresponding to the first quarter and 750 the second. In seven years, Uber has four billion dollars in losses, half of them last year. The main reason found by Gupta to a negative EBITDA (loss before taxes, depreciation and amortization) refers to subsidies to drivers operating with the application.
