Apple releases update to Mac OSX serious failure

The arrival of a version of iOS , last week came to fix a serious security flaw that was discovered in the Apple ecosystem . If many thought was limited to iOS , the arrival of a Mac OS X update has shown that the impact is much larger and also comes to Apple computers .

Mac OSX

It was very politely that Apple recently released two updates for OSX , which come fix a serious security flaw recently discovered. These updates address this problem on OSX El Capitan and Yosemite and also in Apple's own browser , Safari. Apple recommends all users to install immediately , so that they are protected against Pegasus , a software that exploits these flaws .

As in iOS , after receiving a simple link , users are directed to a website that quickly, and without any user intervention , can install malware that takes control of the machines , having access to all the information of users.

What is Pegasus ?

The Pegasus was discovered after human rights activist Ahmed Mansoor had received a strange message on your iPhone. Quickly referred her to be evaluated by several security companies , which came to the conclusion that it was an attempt to control your smartphone.

What was possible to understand , the Pegasus is a software developed by Israeli company NSO Group, which specializes in creating applications to control and remotely access devices , selling their applications to governments .

Apple recommends all users to do the upgrade of their systems so that they are protected from the Pegasus and its capabilities . These updates are available in the App Store updates zone.
