After the release of Galaxy Note 7, last August, the South Korean technology was seen immediately with a problem in arms after several customers have realized a defect in the batteries which caused the explosion of the equipment. In response, the brand has made a mistake in the production of some of the smartphones and called for the return of an international campaign.

In the first phase, and even after the announcement of the equipment collection program, financial indicative of the company did not seem to resent. But on Monday, impact waves that Note 7 has caused even managed to reach the South Korean market, resulting in a fall in the value of the company's shares on they came to reach 7.6%, contributing to a loss of nearly EUR 17 billion since last Friday. A contrasting value with a rise of nearly 30% that technology shares have been registered this year in the South Korean market.

This is, moreover, the largest decrease since the beginning of September, when the company announced the collection program of Note 7 a timing that can be justified by the entry of various entities in the constraints of range the use of smartphone. Recently, the Consumer Product Safety Commission of the United States denounced the illegality of the sale of equipment in the country and several airlines have publicly advised against the transport of Note 7 in aircraft.

The problem that affected the Note 7 batteries has spared the Samsung some unpleasantness "short term" as those that are currently happening but, will not impact the more distance. The readiness in response to the situation is one of the arguments in favor of the South Korean manufacturer.

"At the moment the problem may influence the choice of who is torn between the phone from Samsung and the Apple phone, but it's a timely question. Apple itself had in the past problems with the antenna of the iPhone. "
